Beta Privacy Notice

Published October 5, 2026 · Version 2026-10-05-beta-v1

Your agreement record

When the app asks for agreement to these documents, your explicit choices are saved with your account identifier, document version and links, and server-recorded times for agreement and the separate 18-or-older confirmation. This record does not add marketing consent or collect your IP address, device identifier, or browser user agent. It is removed with deletion of your active account. An older signup checkbox is not silently converted into acceptance of this version.

Who is responsible

Attune Connections is operated by James Carter. Contact attuneconnections@gmail.com about privacy, access, corrections, or deletion. This notice covers the private browser and iOS beta. The separate Website Privacy Notice covers early-access lists, TestFlight requests, and website measurement.

The current private beta

Your saved profile and questionnaire answers are not discoverable by other members. Matching examples are fictional. Real-member matching, messaging, ads, and purchases are not open. A public-style profile preview shows a possible presentation; it does not publish your profile.

What you provide

We process account email, authentication information, verification and session records, and the data you choose to submit. Saved profile information includes name, date of birth, gender, who you want to meet, relationship and age preferences, city/state, interests, first-date ideas, profile text, questionnaire answers, results, and uploaded photos or videos.

New profiles require height and a selection for kids, family plans, smoking, drinking, marijuana, and other drug use. “Prefer not to say” is available for those family and lifestyle questions. Additional match preferences and result-summary sharing choices are optional. These answers can reveal sensitive information about you.

When phone verification is enabled and you request it, we process your phone number and verification status. Email and phone verification confirm contact access, not your identity, age, or background.

Why we use it

We use these details to authenticate you, save your private drafts and profile, calculate and explain your results, deliver the features you request, manage beta access, prevent abuse, respond to feedback, and meet applicable legal obligations. Current matching demonstrations use your answers to explain fictional examples; they do not connect you with other members.

Questionnaire drafts save to your account when a save succeeds. Profile edits have their own save controls. Uploads are stored when added. Native sign-in is kept in device secure storage; browser sign-in is page-lifetime in this beta. Use sign-out on a shared device.

Providers and access

Supabase provides account authentication, the private database, and uploaded-media storage. The website uses Sites hosting and its supporting infrastructure. Expo delivers app builds and compatible updates; Apple operates TestFlight installation and its own crash/feedback tools. Authorized operator access and provider processing are limited to their service purposes; this is not permission for other members to read your account.

Where phone verification is enabled, Twilio processes the number and delivery/verification information needed to send and check a requested code. Where the website bot check is enabled, Cloudflare processes device/network signals and the challenge token. It does not receive completed request-form details in our token-verification call. Provider security and service logs may contain technical data.

We do not sell private beta profiles or questionnaire answers, place advertising trackers in the private beta, or use this agreement as permission to put your photos in marketing. Raw answers are not automatically attached to a feedback report.

Feedback and safety concerns

Reports are stored privately with the submitting account, category, body, and submission time. Attune’s authorized owner can read them to review problems and concerns. Do not include unnecessary medical information, identity documents, or private details about another person. Reports are not public posts or findings of misconduct.

The in-app reporting service is not an emergency service and is not continuously monitored. You may also email a concern if signed out or after deleting your account. Feedback sent through Apple’s TestFlight screenshot/crash tools goes to Apple’s separate system, not directly to the Attune Owner Portal.

Retention and deletion

Account data is kept to provide the beta while your account exists. The deletion flow is designed to remove your active account, profile, private drafts, uploaded media, and account-linked feedback; it requests fresh email verification and shows completion or a retryable failure. Contact support if deletion fails. Deletion does not remove copies you or others independently downloaded.

Provider security logs and backups are separate from the active account. Their precise retention periods are still being confirmed; we do not promise immediate removal from every backup or a fixed backup-expiry period that has not been verified. Information may also be retained when reasonably necessary for a legal obligation, security investigation, or dispute. Contact us with retention questions.

For the first-500 offer, used reservation places, request identifiers, and restricted email-derived deduplication records can remain after account deletion to prevent repeat claims. These records are not anonymous and are not used for marketing. Deleting an account does not create a new offer entitlement. Website request and email-list records are handled separately as explained in the Website Privacy Notice.

Your choices and safety

You can edit saved profile information, choose “Prefer not to say” for the supported family/lifestyle questions, change optional email choices, and request account deletion. You may contact us about access, corrections, withdrawal, or rights available where you live. We may need to verify a request before releasing or changing personal information.

Attune is for adults 18 and older. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us. We use access controls and verification measures, but no online service can promise complete protection from every incident. Email or phone verification does not guarantee that a member is safe.

If we materially change how private information is used or shared, we will give appropriate notice and obtain any required consent before that use. Enabling real-member discovery or messaging is a separate release, not something this notice silently activates.
